Two-year Completion

• Register to receive PSC communications and workshop and meeting invites
• Register for and attend 1 – 2 PSC workshops per semester
• Complete introductory reflection in first semester of participation and at least one reflection per semester over the course of the program
• Attend end-of-term PSC cohort meetings
• Complete engagement plan with mentor to inform digital portfolio
• Create and populate digital portfolio
• Create video presentation to include in portfolio
• Compose personal statement/profile to include in portfolio
• Review portfolio with mentor
• Submit final portfolio with PSC completion form for review to the EHN and Graduate School at least two weeks before degree completion

One-year Completion

• Register to receive PSC communications and workshop and meeting invites
• Register for and attend 3 PSC workshops per semester
• Complete 2 reflections in first semester of participation and 2 reflections in second semester
• Attend end-of-term PSC cohort meetings
• Complete engagement plan with mentor to inform digital portfolio
• Create and populate digital portfolio
• Create video presentation to include in portfolio
• Compose personal statement/profile to include in portfolio
• Review portfolio with mentor
• Submit final portfolio with PSC completion form for review to the EHN and Graduate School at least two weeks before degree completion

Submission Deadlines

PSC coordinators from the EHN and Graduate School receive and review Engagement Plans on a rolling basis and encourage candidates to submit plans as early as possible and at least six months prior to the planned submission of their digital portfolios. PSC candidates can submit digital portfolios for review by one of three deadlines designated to allow time for review, revision, and final submission before anticipated graduation dates. 

• Fall Deadline: October 15th - Candidates planning to complete the certificate by December MUST submit their digital portfolios for review no later than October 15th. Candidates submitting their digital portfolio by the Fall Deadline should plan to submit their engagement plans for review by April to ensure adequate time for review and revision of the plan, and completion of the digital portfolio.

• Spring Deadline: March 15th - Candidates planning to complete the certificate by May MUST submit their digital portfolios for review no later than March 15th. Candidates submitting their digital portfolio by the Spring Deadline should plan to submit their engagement plans for review by September to ensure adequate time for review and revision of the plan, and completion of the digital portfolio.

• Summer Deadline: June 15th - Candidates planning to complete the certificate by August MUST submit their digital portfolios for review no later than June 15th. Candidates submitting their digital portfolio by the Summer Deadline should plan to submit their engagement plans for review by January to ensure adequate time for review and revision of the plan, and completion of the digital portfolio.

Important Note: For this first year of the PSC program, engagement plans should be submitted by January 15th if planning to complete the certificate by May 2026.
