This student organization creates a community and shared space for like-minded individuals at Syracuse University who share a passion for biotechnology. You’ll learn what a diverse and all-encompassing field biotechnology is, why students should pursue biotechnology and what a career in biotechnology looks like. The organization also provides resources and support for biotechnology students. The Biotechnology Society offers leadership and public speaking opportunities to biotechnology students, along with professional, personal and academic development activities and events.

All Syracuse University and SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry individuals who are interested in biotechnology or biotechnology-associated areas are eligible to be a member of the Biotechnology Society, including faculty and staff members.
