When you develop an interest in majoring in Earth and Environmental Sciences, please contact Director of Undergraduate Studies, Jay Thomas, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
- Either Professor Thomas or another assigned faculty advisor will help you with Arts and Sciences Core Requirements and help design a program to meet your goals. If you intend to minor in Earth Sciences, your primary faculty advisor will probably be in another department, but be sure to consult us concerning degree requirements in Earth and Environmental Sciences.
- Each semester, majors meet with the Director of Undergraduate Studies, the Academic Support Coordinator, or your assigned advisor to review your transcripts and proposed course selections to ensure your steady progress toward your anticipated degree program. Once this advising meeting occurs, your advising hold is removed, and you will be able to register for classes for the next semester.
