All fees are hourly unless otherwise noted.
A BLS2 Biosafety Cabinet is available for users of the Blatt BioImaging Center $10/hour.
Zeiss LSM 980 with Airyscan 2 confocal microscope (inverted, fully motorized)
Features include:
- DIC, brightfield and fluorescence
- Halogen lamp 12V 100W for transmitted light and Colibri 5 Type RGB UV for epifluorescence
- Lasers: 405 nm, 488 nm, 561 nm and 639 nm
- Detectors: 1 T-PMT, 1 GaAsP detector, 2 MA-PMT’s, Airyscan 2 Multiplex with 4Y and 8Y
- Objective lenses: Plan-Neofluar 10X/0.3 NA, Plan-Neofluar 40X/1.2 NA Imm Corr DIC, and a C Plan-Apochromat 63X/1.4 NA oil DIC
- Zeiss Zen 3.3
Training takes 1-3 hours, depending on prior experience.

Zeiss LSM 710 confocal microscope (inverted, fully motorized)
Features include:
- DIC, brightfield and fluorescence
- Halogen lamp 12V 100W for transmitted light and X-Cite 120 XL for epifluorescence
- Lasers: 405 nm diode laser, a multiline Argon (458/488/514 nm), and a HeNe (543 nm)
- Detectors: 1 T-PMT, 1 GaAsP detector, 2 highly sensitive low dark-noise PMT’s
- Objective lenses: Plan-Neofluar 10X/0.3 NA, Plan-Apochromat 20X/0.8 NA, Plan-Neofluar 40X/1.3 NA oil DIC, and a Plan-Apochromat 63X/1.4 NA oil DIC
- Zeiss Zen 3.1
