New manager for the Blatt Bioimaging Center

The Blatt Bioimaging Center is excited to announce the appointment of Dr. Abrar Aljiboury as the new manager. Abrar (also known as Abbi) recently accepted this position as well as a Professor of Practice position in the Biology Department. Her appointment will begin on May 1, 2023.

The 1st National PAIR-UP Image Processing Workshop is hosted at Syracuse University

The Blatt Imaging Center is hosting the first national PAIR-UP (Partnering to Advance Imaging Research for URM Scientist Program) workshop on image processing. The invited instructor for the 3-day virtual workshop will be Dr. Teng-Leong Chew, Director of the Advanced Imaging Center at HHMI Janelia Research Campus.
