Graduate Program in Religion Financial Awards Information
The Religion Department offers teaching assistantships, university fellowships and tuition scholarships to fund graduate study. The current practice of the Department is to offer financial support to every student admitted to its Ph.D. program.
Ph.D. students currently receive Teaching Assistantships for five years, contingent on remaining full-time students and making adequate progress towards their degree. Teaching Assistantships include the cost of tuition and a stipend for living expenses. TAs assist in the classes of faculty members for the first three years and may teach undergraduate courses independently in their fourth or fifth years.
