Emily Baxter, doctoral candidate in the School Psychology program, won first prize of the NYSABA Research Award for the poster entitled, “Agreement between Structured Descriptive Assessments and Functional Analyses Conducted Over Telehealth System”.
Telehealth is a way that can connect families who live in rural or remote areas who are in need of behavior analytic services for the treatment of their children’s challenging behavior such as: aggression, self-injury, or property destruction. The study exammined different ways of analyzing the function of child problem behavior prior to implementing treatment in client’s homes using a Telehealth system.
Congratulations, Emily!
