B.S. in Environmental Geoscience
Program Description
The BS degree in Environmental Geoscience provides students with a background in the fundamentals of climate change, water in the Earth system, and global environmental change. Students with this major will be prepared for careers in fields related to environmental research, water resources, coastal ecosystems, climate dynamics, data science, Earth system modeling, energy and the environment, environmental sustainability, and positions within state and federal agencies such as NASA, NOAA, DOE, USDA, and the EPA. Students on this degree track also have opportunities to participate in a field camp experience, although this is not a required part of the degree.
