The 2015 Board of Visitors Faculty Panel Discussion
A&S Faculty discuss what it means to have an 'Intense Liberal Arts Experience'.
Nine faculty members within the College of Arts and Sciences at Syracuse University spent an engaging hour discussing the core values of studying the humanities, the social sciences and the natural sciences during a recent gathering of the college’s Board of Visitors. Moderated by Gerry Greenberg, Sr. Associate Dean of Academic Affairs, the panel discussion titled “The Meaning of an Intense Liberal Arts Experience”, allowed the featured faculty members to openly reflect on their own academic experiences, while sharing how their unique educational paths helped enrich their professional and personal lives.
