Microscopy allows us to unlock a new world to the understanding. Within Syracuse University, scientists including Dr. Hehnly, Dr. Ross, and Dr. Skanata use state-of-the-art microscopes to understand subcellular details that can not be seen with the naked eye. Importantly, microscopy is accessible to a wide range of users through the Blatt BioImaging Center, which is housed in the Department of Biology. The Blatt Center is a hub for microscopy and serves students, faculty, and staff both from the SU campus, and those from neighboring institutions including SUNY Upstate Medical University and the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry.
