Faculty engaged in this cluster interweave the practical with the abstract, as they grapple with the interpretative instability of performance. Recent activities have included collaborating and performing with musicians in India; staging a lab performance/workshop of musical versions of Macbeth and Measure for Measure at the Folger Shakespeare Library; and facilitating Caribbean dance workshops for scholars and students.
