Giving Opportunities

Geoscience Field Course

This initiative would fully fund an innovative geoscience immersion semester culminating in a field course in the Southwestern United States for junior-year geology students—eliminating the primary financial barriers that deter enrollment in the B.S. Geology program.

Innovation in Teaching and Curriculum

Support to Innovation in Teaching and Curriculum initiative would provide annual funding for faculty stipends, collaborative curriculum development, and pedagogical innovation—ensuring the College can continually evolve how we educate students, not just what we teach them.

Interprofessional Health Clinic

The College has identified a transformational opportunity to establish a comprehensive integrated interprofessional clinic, unifying five clinical programs—Audiology, Speech and Language Pathology, Clinical Psychology, School Psychology, and Marriage and Family Therapy—currently spread across campus, under one roof. The initiative will serve hundreds of Central New York families, provide a unique training experience for 165+ graduate students, attract world-class research faculty, and position Syracuse as a national leader in interprofessional education and community health.

Medicinal Chemistry Endowment

This fund deepens Syracuse University's capacity in medicinal chemistry — one of the department's greatest strengths — by investing in lab infrastructure, faculty research, and the next generation of scientific talent. Engaged Humanities Endowed Professorship

The Engaged Humanities Professorship supports the faculty leadership that drives one of Syracuse University's most distinctive civic initiatives — a network spanning 50 departments, 75+ community organizations, and 2.5 million people reached through fellows' creative work. Endowing this position ensures the program's reach and infrastructure outlast any single individual, creating a permanent foundation for community-university partnership.

The Science of Flourishing

The Science of Flourishing Initiative brings an evidence-based positive psychology curriculum to the College of Arts and Sciences, giving students practical tools to build resilience, find meaning, and strengthen their sense of connection and belonging. Modeled on one of Harvard's most celebrated courses, this initiative takes a proactive approach to student well-being — reaching students before crisis, and equipping them for every dimension of their lives.
