The Syracuse University philosophy department is delighted to be able to announce that we have hired Josh Hunt (pictured, left), who works in the history and philosophy of science, to a tenure-track position. Josh received a Ph.D. from the University of Michigan in 2022 and is currently on a post-doc at MIT. He will start in the fall of 2023.

Syracuse philosophy is also delighted to be able to announce that we have hired Elise Woodard (pictured, right), who works in epistemology, ethics, and social and feminist philosophy, to a tenure track position. Elise received a Ph.D. from the University of Michigan in 2022 and is currently on a post-doc at MIT. She will start in the fall of 2023.
