Dr. Michael Marciano has recently been appointed to the national Forensic Science Organization of Scientific Area Committees, a forensic science regulatory and standardization board administered by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). He will join a group of 20 other nationally recognized experts on the Biological Data Interpretation and Reporting Subcommittee to help standardize forensic DNA analyses.
