Flose LaPierre is a Haiti-born writer and election programs manager. She holds a B.A. in Public Relations and Sociology from Syracuse University and has spent the last ten years working elections in Florida. Her fiction centers on death, grief, Haiti, politics, and love in all its forms. She wrote and performed spoken-word poetry for 13 years and hosted Write To Heal, an expressive writing workshop, for three years. Flose lives in Syracuse with her husband, Jesse (who writes children's music and talks to himself for a living), and two cats, Sasha Fierce and A Million Dollars.
