Per U.S. Federal Regulations (34 CFR §668.14 and §668.43) and in compliance with the State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (SARA), Syracuse University provides the following disclosure regarding whether its Speech-Language Pathology, M.S. and Audiology, AU.D. programs meets state educational requirements for professional licensure.

This disclosure is strictly limited to Syracuse University's determination of whether the program's curriculum, if successfully completed, would meet the educational requirements for licensure in each state. This determination does not guarantee eligibility for licensure, as states may require additional elements beyond educational preparation, including but not limited to: passing licensure examinations, completing supervised practice hours, background checks, residency requirements, and other application requirements.

Under federal regulations effective July 1, 2024, Syracuse University is responsible for determining whether program curricula meet state educational requirements for licensure in states where students are located or intend to seek licensure. The University conducts regular reviews of state licensure requirements and updates these disclosures accordingly.
