Student representative Amaar Asif ‘22, a senior in the College of Arts and Sciences studying biology and neuroscience, was appointed to the Board of Trustees for a one-year term.
Asif's studies are mostly concerned with evolutionary biology and sexual selection. He has a strong background in the health sciences, having worked as a patient care intern at SUNY Upstate Medical University. Asif also serves as the vice president of finance for the Phi Delta Epsilon International Medical Fraternity New York Nu chapter.
After graduation, he wishes to pursue a profession in the medical field.
