The State University of New York has bestowed significant distinctions on two faculty members of the State University of New York at Fredonia: Ted Lee (pictured, right, along with SUNY Fredonia President Stephen Kolison Jr., left) and Junaid Zubairi, who have now joined the SUNY Distinguished list.
Lee earned a Ph.D. from Syracuse University and a B.S. from the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry, as well as postdoctoral fellowships at The Ohio State University and Duke University Medical Center. Lee, a faculty member in Fredonia's Department of Biology, became the university's 48th Distinguished faculty member.
Zubairi earned a Ph.D. and an M.S. in Computer Engineering from Syracuse University.
