Ifeyinwa Ojukwu has been named a 2022 Marshall Scholar. She is a biology and psychology student in the College of Arts and Sciences with a minor in public health in the Falk College of Sport and Human Dynamics.
The Marshall Scholarships, established in 1953, provide funding for young Americans with exceptional potential to pursue a graduate degree at a university in the United Kingdom. Ojukwu is the university's fourth Marshall Scholar and one of 41 students chosen throughout the country.
She has also been named a Coronat Scholar, a 2021-22 Remembrance Scholar, and is a part of the Renée Crown University Honors Program.
Ojukwu will study precision medicine at University College London. She intends to pursue an M.D./master of public policy degree in the United States once her Marshall scholarship is completed.
