Austin Garner, assistant professor of biology, was recently a guest on Inside Higher Ed's Academic Minute podcast. In the episode, Garner discussed his latest research exploring how excess freshwater from climate change-associated events are impacting sea urchin survival.
Garner recently published a study in the Journal of Experimental Biology which sought to understand how sea urchin populations will be affected by future extreme climatic events, such as increased torrential rainstorms.
