Congratulations to Fine Arts major Si Li (’20) who has won a SOURCE award for her project titled, "Margaret Bourke-White, Photography in Germany 1945". Si Li is examining Bourke-White's photographs from Germany directly after WWII in the Margaret Bourke-White Papers at Special Collection Research Center. She will be analyzing them in the context of 1940s American press culture, early photojournalism, and the global political circumstances directly after WWII. Si Li is working with profs Sam Johnson and Margaret Innes in our department.
