The newly restored “Christ Carrying the Cross” by Giorgio Vasari was unveiled yesterday at the church of Santa Croce. The painting has been the subject of Prof. Sally Cornelison’s research, and the campaign to fund its restoration was spearheaded by program alumna Paola Vojnovic (G '09) of the Opera di Santa Croce.
