Last Thursday, November 1, 2018, art history grad students and faculty met with Glenn Adamson, acclaimed scholar of American ceramics, and Garth Johnson, curator of ceramics at the Everson Museum, to study specific examples of American ceramics in the Everson collections. Thanks also to Emily Dittman for bringing over two ancient vases from the SUArt galleries collections. Students from the ceramics department also joined in the conversation. Later that evening, we attended Dr. Adamson's lecture in the Everson auditorium. A special shout out to our alums who popped over to say hello!
