Congratulations to Art History alum Emily Francisco (M.A. '17), who presented a paper on Cornelia Chapin for the "Reinventing Sculpture" panel at the Feminist Art History Conference at American University in Washington, D.C. this past weekend. Her paper was titled “Granite Resistance: Cornelia Van Auken Chapin’s ‘Giant Frog’ in Paris and Philadelphia, ca. 1937-1941,” and was largely based on her art history symposium paper of the same name. Woohoo for Emily!
