Congratulations to Music History & Cultures Minor Dina-Marie Weineck for winning the Best Honor’s Capstone Prize in the Professional category at the 2018 Honors Convocation. Dina-Marie’s thesis titled “Diversification of Orchestras’ Audiences, Musicians, Programming, and Revenues:  Transforming the Relevancy of German and U.S. Orchestras to their Communities” was written under the supervision of Mark Nerenhausen, former director of the Janklow program which was once housed in our department.
