Prof Romita Ray has been awarded a Caird Short-Term Fellowship from the National Maritime Museum in the UK, to work on China-India maritime connections for her tea book. Prof Ray is off to London for two months this summer to take up the fellowship and work in the archives and museum collections of the NMM.
