Samantha, a Music History and Cultures major, is also completing a second major in string performance (viola) in the Setnor School of Music. Samantha is an award-winning student and has been at the forefront of raising awareness about campus sexual assault. One of 17 students on the national “It’s On Us” student advisory committee,she introduced U.S. Vice President Joseph Biden Jr. at the organization’s event held a few years ago at SU. In 2016, she was awarded the prestigious Chancellor’s Award for Public Engagement and Scholarship (CAPES).
