Greetings! I'm Rishita, an international student from India. I’m currently pursuing a dual enrollment, with a biomedical engineering major from the College of Engineering and Computer Science and chemistry major from the College of Arts and Sciences, all thanks to the Coronat Scholarship program. Beyond academics, I'm deeply involved in campus life, serving as the Secretary of the Biomedical Informatics Club and the Mentorship Program Chair within the Biomedical Engineering Society. My passion for research ignited early on, leading me to dive into projects at the Bioinspired Institute since my first semester. I've been honored with prestigious awards like the SOURCE Fellowship and the Emerging Research Fellowship for my contributions. As much as I enjoy my academic pursuits, mentorship holds a special place in my heart. It's been instrumental in my personal growth, and I'm eager to pay it forward by engaging with fellow students.
