Emily is a doctoral student in the Composition and Cultural Rhetoric program. She received her MFA in creative nonfiction from the University of Wyoming. Her research interests lie at the intersections of gender, sexuality, race, class, literacy and rhetorical practices, identity construction, cultural production, and anti-racist writing pedagogies.
