Çağla Çimendereli was awarded a competitive Dissertation Fellowship for AY 2023-24 by Syracuse University’s Humanities Center, for her project “An Agency-Centered Approach to Linguistic Justice.” Çağla’s project “explores the ways in which linguistic agency goes beyond communication in order to understand how linguistic norms and practices might oppress members of different linguistic communities.” Congratulations, Çağla!
