Dan Bernardi is a Senior Communications Specialist for the College of Arts and Sciences (A&S) with extensive experience in both print and broadcast media. Since joining the A&S Communications team in 2019, Dan has written articles spanning the sciences and humanities, while also producing video content capturing the A&S experience.

A graduate of SUNY Geneseo, Dan spent more than 10 years in television broadcasting at WSYR NewsChannel 9 in Syracuse prior to joining A&S. In addition to his work in television, he was assistant editor at Today’s CNY Woman magazine, where he developed a passion for telling others’ stories. Dan has also contributed freelance articles to Syracuse University Athletics’ publications. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling with his family and cheering on the Orange.
