Marissa Merrifield received her Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Worcester State University in 2019. She is currently enrolled in the dual Au.D/Ph.D program at Syracuse University. Her interests include hearing healthcare for older adults and the role of cognition on hearing technology outcomes. In addition to her research in the Hearing Aids Lab under the mentorship of Dr. Karen Doherty, Marissa serves as a clinical doctorate student in the Gebbie Hearing Clinic and will be completing her clinical externship at the Mayo Clinic in Florida.
