Kerry is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist and PhD student. She graduated with her bachelor's degree from the College of Saint Rose in 2015 and completed her master's in Speech-Language Pathology at SU. Before pursuing her doctorate, Kerry worked full-time as an itinerant SLP in preschool and early intervention for Onondaga County. Kerry is interested in researching effective interventions for young children with complex communication disorders, including childhood apraxia of speech, language disorders, and autism. She believes that authentic collaboration with families and other service providers is essential to supporting meaningful communication, and that researchers and therapists should strive to see the whole child when designing and carrying out interventions. Currently, Kerry is studying under the mentorship of Dr. Preston. She enjoys working and eating pizza with the good folks in the Speech Production Lab.
