The A&S | Maxwell admissions office welcomes Chris Bezdedeanu as its new recruitment specialist.

The College of Arts and Sciences (A&S) | Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs admissions office is pleased to announce the addition of Chris Bezdedeanu as its new recruitment specialist. He will work to engage prospective students on and off campus to improve enrollment in all undergraduate programs in A&S | Maxwell. He will also collaborate with faculty, college leadership and the University’s Office of Admissions to create and implement initiatives that will optimize overall enrollment goals.

“We’re very excited to welcome Chris back to the team in this role,” says Christopher Anderson, director of graduate and undergraduate recruitment for A&S | Maxwell. “Thanks to his experience with us, as well as his time as an A&S | Maxwell student and tour guide, Chris can jump right in and help us continue to grow interest in our programs.”

Before joining the A&S | Maxwell admissions team on a full-time basis, Bezdedeanu worked in the office as an intern and student employee from February 2021 through May 2023. He also interned as a project manager at consulting firm Penn Hill Group as part of the Maxwell in Washington program, where he provided strategy, content and administrative support for a number of clients in the higher education industry.

“As a recent graduate, I am eager to rejoin the A&S | Maxwell admissions team in a full-time role,” says Bezdedeanu. “Through my own experience as a student here, I hope to be a resource for those that are taking the next step in their journey to become Forever Orange.”

Bezdedeanu, originally from Westwood, Massachusetts, holds a bachelor’s degree from A&S | Maxwell in citizenship and civic engagement and policy studies and was a member of the Reneé Crown University Honors Program, Phi Beta Kappa and U100 Student Ambassadors.
