Join Us for Law Week 2017
Annual event includes workshops and resources for students considering a law career.
This year, more than 200 Syracuse University undergraduates and alumni will apply to law school. It can be a daunting and overwhelming process for anyone.
The office of Advising and Career Services in the College of Arts and Sciences (A&S) is ready to help. The college offers year-round resources for students in their pre-law advising program to guide them through the preparatory and admissions process. And each fall, A&S presents its popular Law Week, which this year will take place Sept. 25-28 at various locations across campus.
“Our annual Law Week has grown each year as more Syracuse University students consider a future in the legal profession,” says Kandice Salomone, associate dean of advising and career services in Arts and Sciences. “Having a strong liberal arts education in the college has provided a valuable foundation for many of our students who believe law school is the next stage on that career path.”
All Syracuse University students who may be considering law school are invited to attend any workshop that fits their current pre-law aspirations. Workshops include admissions and financial aid tips, LSAT practice and test-taking tips, a mock admissions panel and the annual Law School Fair in the Schine Student Center.
