Tammy Kordas is traveling to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, April 5 to 14, 2013 with Healing the Children, a non-profit organization that has been working for 30 years to provide medical care to children worldwide. The one-week mission is supported by Healing the Children's Philadelphia Chapter. The medical team includes pediatric otolaryngologists, anesthesiologists, pediatric urologists and audiologists. The team Kordas is working with will be conducting hearing tests and fitting hearing aids at Black Lion Hospital, a university hospital and largest general public hosptial in Addis Ababa; The CURE  Ethiopia Children's Hospital, a pediatric orthopedic teaching hospital in Addis Ababa; and at the Mekansia School for the Deaf, which provides education for 265 Students.
