Dr. Kate Lewis, Professor of Biology and Director of the Neuroscience Integrated Learning Major, has been named a James K. Duah-Agyeman Awardee. The James K. Duah-Agyeman Award for Outstanding Faculty — established by the Center for Academic Achievement and Student Development, which houses the McNair Scholars Program, the Collegiate Science and Technology Entry Program, the Arthur O. Eve Higher Education Opportunity Program, the Student Support Services and the Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation programs — is given to outstanding faculty and staff in recognition of their commitment to the development, training, and preparation of the next generation of University scholars.
