Victoria Gomez is a Chicago-born writer whose poetry is inspired by children’s literature, and the immigrant-daughter experience.

Her poetry and nonfiction pieces have been published in Reconstructed, Governors State University’s student-run literary magazine. 

A 2026 BA graduate from Governors State University, Victoria majored in English with minors in Creative Writing and Practical/Professional Ethics. Her Honors College research on the influence of fairytales in American children’s literature was presented at the National Collegiate Honors Conference.
