Biographic Overview
Daniel Luze writes neurotic gay sci-fi. In a previous life, as a scholar, he wrote a PhD dissertation about workers’ literature in 19th-century Havana, including fairy tales about political economy, calls to war disguised as odes to beauty, and tracts in praise of Black revolt. He’s spent the last 5 years managing the archive at NYU’s Hemispheric Institute, which is full of beautiful and outrageous things. Once he wrote an essay titled “MILF Manor Wasn’t Oedipal Enough,” but he couldn’t find anyone that wanted to publish it. He’s a very irregular bookstagram’er: Daniel (@vaticerratic) • Instagram profile
