The Forensic Science Minor is an 18-credit program that is open to all students at Syracuse University. The minor allows students to gain both a deep understanding of a traditional discipline through their major field of study while gaining some experience with various aspects of forensic science and criminal investigations. This later forensic experience is accomplished through a variety of courses including a general overview of the field as a whole. Thus, the minor in forensic science offers a strong complement to major areas of study and provides a general background in forensic science and criminal justice for Syracuse University students.
