Dual Au.D. / Ph.D. Program in Audiology
Syracuse University also offers a combined Au.D./Ph.D. degree program for those students interested in receiving both a professional doctoral degree (Au.D.) and a research doctoral degree (Ph.D.).
The AuD/PhD is 110 a credit program, which allows students to pursue both their clinical training and their research training in a rigorous, intensive and streamlined program. All students must be accepted into the AuD program, and application to the dual AuD/PhD program is made after successful completion of the first year of the AuD program. Applicants to the AuD/PhD program should have a 3.5 or higher GPA and should meet minimum GRE requirements (see Course Catalog link in sidebar for details). If GRE scores were not submitted at the time of acceptance into the AuD program, applicants need to take and submit GRE scores before being considered for admission to the AuD/PhD dual program.
