B.S. Applied Mathematics is similar to the B.A. program in Applied Mathematics, but the additional coursework that it includes will enable the student to pursue a career in a field of Science, Technology, or Engineering that requires advanced mathematical training, often beyond an undergraduate degree. The program emphasizes the breadth of applications of Mathematics and its computational aspects, including the principles of mathematical algorithms that drive technological innovations.
