Adam Baltaxe
Majors: International Relations, Spanish
Adam has learned about the many beautiful cultures the world has done so on a smaller scale here at Syracuse. He aspires to join the foreign service and use his privilege as a support system for communities often overlooked or undervalued by the U.S. government.

Isabella Chavez Miranda
Majors: Medicinal Chemistry, Business Management
During her time at Syracuse, Isabella developed practical skills in research, data analysis and strategic problem-solving. She is committed to driving innovation and efficiency in healthcare and aims to bridge the gap between science and business to improve both healthcare administration and patient outcomes.

Luke Elliot
Majors: Citizenship and Civic Engagement, Public Relations
Minor: Sport Management
Luke's interests lie at the crossroads of the fields he studies: community engagement through sport. Working with several teams throughout his time at Syracuse, Luke works to increase access to youth sports to increase participation in and engagement with sports organizations that play critical roles in their communities.

Abigail Greenfield
Majors: History, Political Philosophy
Minors: Art History, Political Science
Abi's research interests include law and society, comparative Canadian-American legal and political history, rights frameworks and their real-world applications, and material and cultural art history. She plans to pursue a Ph.D. and eventual career in policy research and analysis, using her knowledge of the past to inform a more socially just future for court systems and democratic governance.

Abigail Jones
Majors: Policy Studies, Public Relations
During her time at Syracuse, Abigail learned to lead education, youth development and sustainability initiatives in the City of Syracuse. She hopes to pursue a career in corporate social responsibility and coordinate partnerships for community engagement.

Mark Nzasi
Majors: Neuroscience, Psychology
Coming from a family of Kenyan immigrants, Mark aims to implement clinics and sustainable healthcare initiatives across Africa. In rural communities akin to those his family resides in, preventable illnesses tragically claim lives all too often. Mark seeks to combat this by attending medical school and enhancing access to essential quality medical services.

Nash Peña
Majors: Sociology, English and Textual Studies

Alekhya Rajaselaran
Majors: Biotechnology, Public Communications
As a Tamil-Telugu Indian immigrant who settled in the Central Valley of California, Alekhya is motivated to improve health literacy, optimize healthcare systems, and provide care in developing areas. She will pursue her M.D. and eventually practice medicine!

Kaniya Ross
Majors: Neuroscience, Psychology
Kaniya aspires to attend medical school to become the first doctor in her family, and ultimately work as a pediatric neurologist.

Evelina Torres
Majors: Political Science, Citizenship and Civic Engagement
Minors: Geography
Evelina is passionate about achieving equity surrounding access to political systems. Her senior research project focuses on fostering political civic engagement among Latina women in the Syracuse area. She will continue higher education at Carnegie Mellon studying public policy and management.
