
Bradley Seymour, associate teaching professor of psychology in the College of Arts and Sciences, was quoted in a Pop Sugar article titled, "How to Manage Seasonal Affective Disorder, According to Mental Health Experts."
In the article, Seymour recommends consuming foods high in vitamin D to help compensate for the deficiency caused by reduced sunlight exposure during the winter months. A lack of vitamin D may result in fatigue, muscle weakness and mood changes. He suggests incorporating foods like fatty fishes, kale, mushrooms, orange juice and dairy milk to to boost vitamin D levels.
