Kevin Antshel, professor of psychology in the College of Arts and Sciences, was featured on the Academic Minute about the surge of ADHD in U.S. youth following the COVID-19 pandemic. Antshel, the principal investigator for Syracuse University’s ADHD Lifespan, Treatment and Education Research program, attributes the rapid rise in diagnoses to an increase in caregivers seeking diagnostic evaluations during the pandemic and greater awareness and recognition of ADHD.

Academic Minute airs on 70 radio stations across the United States and Canada and each segment is posted on InsideHigherEd.com.
