Sarah Fuchs Gives Keynote and Presents Papers at Conferences

Recently, Professor Sarah Fuchs presented a paper at one conference and gave a keynote at another. Here are the details:

  • “Centres, Peripheries, and the Phono-Cinéma-Théâtre (1900–1903).” Paper given at “Between Centres and Peripheries: Music in Europe from the French Revolution until WWI (1789-1914).” Centro Studi Opera Omnia Luigi Boccherini, ERASMUS, and Palazzetto Bru Zane—Centre de musique romantique française.
  • “Opera on the Line: Operatic Transmissions in Late Nineteenth-Century Paris and Lyon”. Keynote at “Away from the Centre: Conceptualising the Regional and the Rural (1850–1950).” Durham University.
