Art history alum Brooke Baerman (B.A., '15) sends us an exciting update. After graduating from SU, Brooke completed a summer undergraduate fellowship at Historic Deerfield. She went on to join the prestigious Winterthur Program in American Material Culture where she completed her master's thesis titled, "'New order from your hand, new lustre from your eye': the art, craft, and science of Philadelphia shellwork grottos." Brooke went on to present her thesis at Colonial Williamsburg's Antiques Forum, just before the COVID-19 lockdown last year. She is currently working at the Ogunquit Playhouse, a historic theatre on the coast of Maine. Congratulations, Brooke!
