On the evening of October 17, the department co-sponsored Turkish musician Latif Bolat, who lectured and presented: "Into the Mystic: A Night of Turkish Sufi Music and Poetry." The evening featured Turkish Sufi songs and devotional poetry by Jalal ad-Din Rumi and Yunus Emre. Congratulations to professors Carol Babiracki and Sydney Hutchinson who were involved with his visit.
