Hey y'all, my name is Alex and I'm from Abilene, TX! Pursuing a double major in Anthropology & Linguistic Studies with a minor in Museum Studies and Art History, my goal is to become a museum conservator at a leading research institution or museum. In addition to being a Maxwell Ambassador, I'm active on campus through the STEM sorority Alpha Omega Epsilon, and organizations such as Camp Kesem and the Filipino Student Association. I also volunteer in the Archaeology Lab, and I work as a student assistant in the Center for Student Excellence and as an English Conversation Partner through the Graduate School. In my time at Syracuse so far, I've been able to participate in a semester abroad in Florence and complete a Smithsonian summer internship thanks to the support and guidance I've received from professors and mentors alike.
