As a Coronat Scholar, you will receive:

• full tuition for four years of undergraduate study, or for five years of undergraduate study if you enroll in an approved five-year program
• additional financial aid to meet your demonstrated financial need that exceeds the cost of tuition; this benefit is available only to students who are eligible for federal financial aid and have completed both the FAFSA and CSS Profile
• full funding (tuition, room and board, and funds for airfare and expenses) for one Syracuse Abroad international study opportunity, either short-term, summer or semester
• funding for one summer of approved study, research or volunteer work (awarded on a competitive basis)
• automatic admission to the Renée Crown University Honors program
• mentoring for prominent national awards and scholarships including the Marshall Scholarship, Truman Scholarship, Fulbright Program and others

As a Coronat Scholar, we expect that you will:

• maintain full-time enrollment status
• major in an A&S | Maxwell program and maintain A&S | Maxwell as your home college;
  • students with an integrated learning major must select a base major from A&S | Maxwell so that A&S | Maxwell remains their home college; enrolling in a dual or combined major is allowable, as long as the home college remains A&S | Maxwell;
• maintain a grade point average (GPA) of 2.75 or higher on a 4-point scale
• study abroad through a semester-long, summer, or short-term program
• play a leadership role in the intellectual life of the University
• participate in a residential Living Learning Community
• participate fully in the Coronat Scholars program, including our fall trip and meeting with special guests to campus
• take advantage of the various service opportunities offered by Syracuse University to the wider community

• Complete this survey on or before Friday, March 10 to share your preferred dates for a campus visit. A&S | Maxwell will cover the cost of your travel expenses and accommodations for an overnight stay for you and a guest (if you are under 18 years of age, your guest must be a parent or guardian).
• Visit this website and enter the password GoOrange to secure your place in the Renée Crown University Honors Program.
• Accept your offer of admission to Syracuse University. The steps you should take to accept will be described in your admissions letter from the Office of Admissions. This letter will be available via email and in your student portal.
